I grew up in Arvada Colorado, at the base of the Rockies between Denver and Boulder. I went to D'Evelyn High School, where I played football, ran track, and fell in love with science thanks to some inspirational physics and biology teachers.
As a result, I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I studied Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Biomedical applications. I also participated in the Lockheed Martin Entrepreneurship Program, and after graduating, traveling, and spending too much time in a cubicle, a colleague and I started a freelance design consulting company called Accelerated Dynamics.
I am always hungry for adventure. I'm always up for anything outdoors, including hiking, biking, scuba diving and snowboarding. I have also developed an addiction to backpacking in foreign countries, and my list of places I'd like to visit is long and getting longer.
I've recently graduated from Stanford's Graduate Design Program, where I took courses in everything from human centered design, to electronics and manufacturing. I also completed the Stanford IGNITE executive MBA to learn how to translate these skills into industry.
I love living in the bay area and being constantly exposed to so many incredible people and ideas. When I'm not consulting or prototyping for startups, I am developing and reworking my own concepts. Thank you for visiting, and please get in touch with me if you have any comments or questions!
