Mediated Matter

I have seen firsthand the potential and applications for mediated matter. It is rapidly and radically changing what is practically possible to create, and I would be privileged to work on the development and application of technologies in this exciting field. 

- Electrospinning Apparatus

As part of an undergraduate research grant, I assisted in the design and fabrication of an electrospinning apparatus and environmental chamber. You can see a more detailed website here.

- Medical Modeling

I worked at Medical Modeling in the Virtual Surgical Planning department. I was also responsible for designing and manufacturing the tactile cutting guides we designed. Through this experience, I saw how rapid prototypiung techniques and computer based image processsing and device design are changing the medical field.
